Other ways to give:

Cash Gifts can be made by check, Master Card or Visa credit card gifts by phone or by using our secured online donation feature. They may be one-time gifts or in the form of multiple payment pledges.

Non-cash Gifts may include securities, personal property, real estate or discretionary gifts-in-kind.

Planned Giving includes estate gifts made through a will or trust. Additionally we are able to accept Beneficiary Designations of life insurance or retirement accounts plus Life Income Gifts, including gift annuities and gifts made through charitable trusts.

Matching Gifts are a terrific opportunity to increase your gift if your employer has a Matching Charitable Gift Program.

Gifts in Memoriam or Honorarium are a valued recognition of a loved one or special event with the additional significance of helping others. The Courtyard Brick Program offers another way to commemorate. Purchase a brick for $100. Bricks are engraved with names, dates and/or events than permanently installed in the facility’s central courtyard.

Annual Fund Campaign - We conduct an Annual Appeal by mail and a Leadership Gift Campaign in person each spring during which time we apprise established and potential donors of our most current successes and challenges.

Endowment Funds - Casa de Esperanza has established an endowed fund in which the principal is to be held as a permanent investment and the income is to be used for operating or capital expenditures. In addition to this endowed principal which is managed by the Casa Board of Directors, the Agency established Endowment Funds with the Arizona Community Foundation (1998) and the Community Foundation of Southern Arizona (2004). All three funds can be augmented with designated gift giving to your choice - the Casa de Esperanza Board managed fund, or the Casa de Esperanza Endowment Fund at either Foundation.

Fund-raising events include the Annual Reverse Raffle typically conducted in late January and the Los Ninos del Valle Golf Tournament - an early fall event.

The Reverse Raffle is Casa’s largest public forum event involving the good will and participation of many hundreds of people and man-hours. It’s a semi-formal dinner gala for which over 150 area businesses and numerous individuals sponsor and donate wonderful prizes, ensuring that each ticket holder goes home a winner plus has a chance at several enticing cash prizes.

The Los Ninos del Valle Golf Tournament is also an annual event that has the support of many area businesses and organizations. The event has passed its 19th Anniversary and is now drawing more than 120 golfers from throughout southern Arizona.

Funding for Casa de Esperanza comes from churches, service clubs, local businesses and individuals; fees for services; fundraising events; grants from private foundations and charitable giving groups such as the White Elephant and the Greater Green Valley Community Foundation; and government grants or contracts.

Community service organizations who partner with Casa de Esperanza in delivering services include The Brewster Center, Catholic Social Services and Pima Council on Aging.
